Small pool with too many young children. Check out is very early - 11am. If a guest wants to use the pool for the rest of the day they have to change in a toilet. Even thought they have a mens & ladies health club locker rooms they provide no facilities for shower/changing after checking out. No one cleans dirty dishes and glasses at pool during the day. It's a mess by afternoon.

the website and staff state that hotel finished total refurb in 01/10 but i find this hard to believe. lobby, restaurant and bar areas were nice but bathrooms in rooms although visually updated, faucets and and counter area look a few years old. rooms are large with two LCD tv's and sofa in sitting area that is a pull out. pool hours are limited and close at 8PM. staff was nice and helpful but when we arrived initially was told that rooms werent ready and might not be until 6PM. the best thing about this hotel was the location, right in the middle of downtown. once you get there and park your car, you'll probably not need to use it again. withing walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops and also at the entrance of street fair.

I stayed for the weekend 1/7 too 1/11/10. I was not impressed with this hotel for the price. I was not aware that the pool would be closed at the time of my visit. The restaurants on site were poor quality especially at the casino. We used valet service to park the car, generously tipped the valet each time, but still had to pay for the service at the end of the stay, I wish we knew that in advance. We did get instant service to fix the broken television set in the room, but this hotel really needs an upgrade on its televisions, Its disappointing that there is no free wi-fi in a place like this especially for that price. The service was satisfactory and the staff was friendly. The location was appropriate, but I don't think this would be my choice of places to stay for a weekend getaway to Palm Springs.

Every member of the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly, from the parking valet, front desk, concierge, to the cleaning staff, everybody greeted us with a smile and immediately offered assistance, before I even had a chance to make my request. The location near everything downtown was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. We just wanted to leave the car and check out the downtown area. The only disappointment was not with the hotel, but with the casino. VERY smoky and you had to walk through the smoke to get to the buffet (which daily breakfast buffet was included with the room we booked). The small non-smoking area in the slot machine area was not separated in any way from the smoking area, hence the smoke everywhere. It was not noticable in the non-smoking buffet area or in the Poker room, which was nice.

the spa's had dirty foam floating in all of them, every time I took my car out they charged my room $ and I tiped $5.00 to boot!!! I had to stay in my room for one whole night because the resorts fine dinning made me sick.
