We were badly disappointed at the condition of the golf courses with the greens being the main source of frustration. They were mainly painted dirt and rolled like a shag carpet. To make matters worse one course was closed through most of our visit so it was impossible to get good tee times. They also had three tournaments booked during our stay which made it virtually impossible to play more than one round per day even though it was an "unlimited golf" package. After seeing the condition of the greens we really had no desire to play more than one round anyway but it woould have been nice to make that decision for ourselves. The staff was unapologetic with an "is what it is attitude". We booked four months in advance and asked for adjoining rooms. We did not get them. With 90% of the rooms overlooking the pool or golf courses, we got to look at the parking lot. If you want to go and lay by the pool all day, have a great time. But if you're looking to play golf on a well conditioned course with your buddies, book elsewhere.

The huge facility made it so difficult to get from one activity to another. It took so long to get from our room to the nearest swimming pool, lobby and restaurant, that there were times when my kids didn't even want to go and do anything. The food was very mediocre in quality and the wait staff not very attentive. We expected great service. Also, if you are traveling with young children, you might reconsider choosing this resort if you don't want them exposed to the tattoo and body piercing crowd.
